So nice to post fairly early in September, which hopefully compensates for the fact that I didn't blog last month! Always a busy time to be an artist in St Ives (and that's not a complaint, thanks to all who buy my work) this August saw visits from both daughters, son-in-law and dogs, plus a lovely reunion/get-together of sorts, with the upshot that all painting projects were suspended for around 2 weeks! Wouldn't have missed it though and the weather was pretty good too.
Normal service resumed eventually and here some new and older works.
I have also been working on some slightly larger paintings in oil on hardboard, some of which are already at the framers and will provide content for a future post x
