London visit, ING Discerning Eye 2014

The intention was to write this post whilst everything was fresh in my mind and here it is, almost 2 weeks after the annual ING Discerning Eye Exhibition 2014 opened at the Mall Galleries in London.... Exiting Charing Cross station, on the morning of Thursday 13 November, I was thrilled to be amidst the imposing surroundings of Trafalgar Square and Whitehall, walking towards The Mall and awesome Admiralty Arch - see the pics below and also photo credits and links.  Didn't take a camera and don't yet have a smart phone - I know, life in the slow lane, huh. Discerning Eye 2014

Happy times, one of my paintings has been selected for Discerning Eye 2014 by Emma Stibbon RA .... The ING Discerning Eye Exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday 13 until Sunday 23 November at  The Mall Galleries, London  SW1.  Admission is free and all the works will be for sale.

'All Happening at Porthmeor' and other October paintings

Not so many to show in this post, as a good part of October was spent working holiday cover and then there was HOUSEWORK - impossible to ignore any longer!!! I managed to cut and prime boards on Sunday and today was spent painting : ) 'All Happening at Porthmeor'  mixed media on Arches Aquarelle paper, framed. 'Low Tide Surf' oil on primed board, 13.5 x 13.5 cm.
