Budget Camping

Camping at a quiet location, just 3 miles outside the hustle and bustle of St Ives can be found at Lower Penderleath Camp Site this summer. Tents only. Hot and cold water showers are available and there's an area with hot water for washing pots and pans etc.  For more info/bookings click here or phone 0772 301 4567.

The photo below - although not of the camp site - shows the surrounding scenery of this lovely part of the world.

  1. That looks beautiful!

  2. Fantastic. We're trying out camping for the first time this year, I'm really hoping it works out so it's something we can do every year.

  3. Camping can be such an adventure and isn't it lovely to get that close to nature? Have put in an order for good weather too. Thanks for commenting. x

  4. If only we could rely on the weather, there is nothing nicer than camping in summer. Lovely spot also.

  5. Oh my goodness, is that how much it costs to camp these days.....I have completely lost touch..... We used to pay about £3 a night for two of us! Until we had had one too many wet holidays and have rented cottages since, But this is our kind of place, peaceful, near to St Ives, with just a loo and shower! and now a fridge!

  6. Thanks for visiting - yes, times have changed - £3 will just about pay for a glass of wine on an evening out now!

  7. Mmm - makes me want to take up camping - something I have never done before.

  8. Not even at school? A good few years have passed since I last camped, I must admit! Thanks for visiting Cathy. x
