Rain, Rain and Rainbows...

The rain goes on, fortunately punctuated with sunlight to give us some joy - in the form of rainbows.  Inspirational and not easy to portray, I have made a start, undeterred by the job in hand.  Practice makes perfect, right?

All unframed as yet.

This is part of an old painting cut down for repainting.  The new composition works so much better than the original ever did and has been enlivened by the addisiton of some light impasto.
