Mistakenly posted on Picture from St Ives!

Have just completed a post intended for Sea-Blue-Sky-Abstracts on my other blog 'Picture from St Ives'.  Please click here to read - honestly, could I get much more absent minded?!

Glorious in St Ives today, with sun, sun, sun, all day long on The Wharf - hordes of people enjoying themselves on the Foresand.  Tomorrow (Wednesday 20 April) is my day to work at Art Space Gallery, so why not pop in and say 'Hello'? x

  4. Libby and Sybille - so lovely to hear from you, I have been unhappy for for the past 2 weeks or so and have not felt like blogging, but will get back to following you all soon. x

Julie, the word 'strand' takes me back to a time when my grandparents were alive and the part of the Harbour beach known as 'Market Strand' in St Ives, before Wharf Road was built. Will visit soon, Lesley. x

Summer, such a hectic, busy time here in St Ives, no complaints though, there's been enough sunshine to keep everyone happy!
On the personal news front: All six of the artworks painted with submission to the annual ING Discerning Eye Exhibition in mind are now at the framer's.  There's still time to enter, click the link to find out more.

The Rotary Club of St Ives popular fundraising exhibition of donated postcard sized art is a high point of the annual St Ives September Festival and my contribution is already in the hands of the organisers.

The ever popular Square Deal Show at St Ives Society of Artists Mariners Gallery is another unmissable September Festival event.  I have my blank canvas, it's unwrapped and a start on it will be made very soon - just need to think about what to paint!
