Christmas solidarity

Not wanting Cathy at Menopausal Musing to feel all alone when it comes to 'displacement activities' I decided to undertake a few of my own today and enjoyed a very pleasant few hours of play. Trouble is, there's quite a lot of clearing up to be done and glitter everywhere - even on me!

The sun was shining too and the brisk, North East wind dried the washing on the line in no time.

I used newspaper, aluminum foil (including gold chocolate wrappers) brown paper, sequins and glitter.

  1. Lovely trees - 'artless'- which is a strange word to describe something created by someone so obviously artistic.

  2. I love your simple and yet so effective!

  3. Jill, Sal, Cathie and Sybille - thanks for your comments. Now I want to make more!! Bye for now. Lesley

  4. I love these. Really pretty aren't they? x

  5. Thanks Pipany - newspaper, brown wrapping paper and foil work really well together and there's also the 'feel good' factor that comes from re-using them. x

  6. They look great, looks like you had almost too much fun, good for you.

  7. Glad you had fun "cutting and sticking". I've got a card I made for you, I'll drop it into the gallery ...

  8. Fun to make and looking fabulous!! :0)

  9. Milly, Lily, Carolyn and Anne, thank you for sharing the fun! Very messy fun, though. Bye for now. Lesley
