Home Spun

Home Spun - a fair of hand crafted originals and vintage treasures takes place on 2 August, from 10.30-4.30 pm, at Portscatho Memorial Hall, Cornwall. There are some stands still available for bloggers who are interested in selling their wonderful wares - click the 'Home Spun' picture link on the right hand sidepanel.

  4. This is REALLY weird. I discovered your Blog this morning via your message on my Blog. Although I live in the WEst Midlands we go to Cornwall every year at least twice and ALWAYS stay in Portscatho. I have great friends there - may have to see about coming down for an extra day or two earlier in August than we'd planned!

  6. Lesley, I will give you my email address so we can arrange it and then you can also let me know which days you are in the gallery from time to time. I've got a Crow Day tomorrow but I don't think I will get time to pop in tomorrow as I've also got to go to the Post Office and the Library, speak soon, love, Carolyn x

On the personal news front: All six of the artworks painted with submission to the annual ING Discerning Eye Exhibition in mind are now at the framer's.  There's still time to enter, click the link to find out more.

The Rotary Club of St Ives popular fundraising exhibition of donated postcard sized art is a high point of the annual St Ives September Festival and my contribution is already in the hands of the organisers.

The ever popular Square Deal Show at St Ives Society of Artists Mariners Gallery is another unmissable September Festival event.  I have my blank canvas, it's unwrapped and a start on it will be made very soon - just need to think about what to paint!
