Very windy in St Ives today, with sunshine, showers and spectacular surf at Porthmeor Beach, daunting to all but the most experienced surfers. Here are some views of the surf from the safety of shore.... Rectangular paintings will eventually be float mounted for display in the browsers at  St Ives Society of Artists  Mariners' Gallery. Just four small original oil paintings on board to show today, owing to having been busy working on a couple of 50 x 50 cm canvases. I hope that the first two will be exhibited at St Ives Society of Artists Spring Show (fingers crossed) which opens on St Valentine's Day.  The others will appear at Art Space Gallery , St Ives, very soon!
