I'm so looking forward to resuming painting and spent a pleasant few hours photographing, labelling and wrapping the artwork pictured below, today. Very windy in St Ives today, with sunshine, showers and spectacular surf at Porthmeor Beach, daunting to all but the most experienced surfers. Today is the day!   Stisa presents its annual Spring Open 2015 - an exciting show featuring works by many so many different and talented artists selected by guest curator Ylenia Haase of the New Craftsman Gallery, St Ives Come along, you won't be disappointed, open from 10.30 - 6.00 pm, Saturday 25 April.  See hours of opening (below) thereafter.  Admission free.

Not so many to show in this post, as a good part of October was spent working holiday cover and then there was HOUSEWORK - impossible to ignore any longer!!! At last, I'm getting some paintings online before taking to  Art Space Gallery, St Ives and several are not yet framed. Not complaining though, being busy has been great fun and a big boost to creativity.... Two slightly larger paintings are at the framers in readiness for submission to St Ives Society of Artists  Members Autumn Show..... Some time has also been spent priming fragments of lovely Arches watercolour paper - found under the bed (wish I was joking) - along with some approx A4 sheets of w/c paper, part painted around 6 years or so ago, I think?  The assorted A4 sheets will definitely be re-worked, possibly with watercolour/gouache/acrylic - the paper is just too good to waste!
