And breathe again......  After such a long blog break (life was tooo busy) I'm hoping some followers continue to hang around?! So grateful too for glorious September weather here in St Ives yesterday, a chance to paint, sunbathe and read in peace and quiet under an endless blue sky.  Bliss. Saturday 12 September, 2015 sees the start of the annual St Ives September Festival - a jam packed two weeks of exciting and varied art, music and literature events, including St Ives Society of Artists  annual Square Deal show - see below - not to be missed. Very windy in St Ives today, with sunshine, showers and spectacular surf at Porthmeor Beach, daunting to all but the most experienced surfers. Here are some views of the surf from the safety of shore.... Rectangular paintings will eventually be float mounted for display in the browsers at  St Ives Society of Artists  Mariners' Gallery.
