Very windy in St Ives today, with sunshine, showers and spectacular surf at Porthmeor Beach, daunting to all but the most experienced surfers. Bath Society's Open exhibition never disappoints.  A 'must visit' for anyone who finds themselves in the beautiful city of Bath between 16 May - 27 June, 2015. Fantastic scenes in this part of the world today, we've had it all - vast Cumulonimbus, edges feathered by rain; deep blue skies; clear molten gold and the pink of sunset defined by dark land and clouds. Well on into January and here's my first paintings post of 2015, doesn't time fly! This part of Cornwall was gloriously sunny today and looking beautiful, with barely a cloud in the sky.  I had to pop over to Penzance this afternoon; the hills and moors were sharply etched against the solid blue of the sky, Mounts Bay was gleaming and St Michael's Mount looking particularly imposing.  The whole journey was a continuous visual treat.  Find the square paintings at Art Space Gallery when open again after refurbishment (no later than 29 January 2015).  The rectangular artworks are awaiting mounting and or framing.......
