'Wind-Lashed Shore' and other small oil on board paintings

At last, I'm getting some paintings online before taking to Art Space Gallery, St Ives and several are not yet framed. Not complaining though, being busy has been great fun and a big boost to creativity....
Two slightly larger paintings are at the framers in readiness for submission toSt Ives Society of Artists Members Autumn Show.....
Some time has also been spent priming fragments of lovely Arches watercolour paper - found under the bed (wish I was joking) - along with some approx A4 sheets of w/c paper, part painted around 6 years or so ago, I think?  The assorted A4 sheets will definitely be re-worked, possibly with watercolour/gouache/acrylic - the paper is just too good to waste!

Rotarian Michael Clough writes:
"I am pleased to report that this year's 'Spot the Artist' exhibition and sale, which  took place last weekend, was a great success. Allowing for a generous contribution towards expenses from Tanner Trust,  the event raised  almost £8,500, an increase of  25% on last year's  result. This will be distributed during the current Rotary year on a 50/50 basis between local arts charities and organisations and Rotary charities and good causes. As you were one of more than 220 artists who generously gave examples of their work to the event, I would like to thank you very much for your contribution. We were also well supported by members of the public who had started forming a queue outside the School of Painting by 8.30 am on Saturday morning, prior to the start of the sal…
