This is the view I woke up to - taken around 7.45 am - please excuse the blurriness, the camera was hand held and the photographer barely awake. It was wonderful to be greeted by clear skies after dreary grey!!
Early sunlight setting the hedges ablaze with colour.......
Taken a little later - around 8.30 am, the moon is much lower, though still bright.
And from the front bedroom window - St Ives Bay, with mist - no frost here, being 'burnt off' by the early sun.
And the fine weather continued for most of the day. It was absolutely lovely.
I have added photos of framed paintings to my other blog, click here to see them.

I wish I was there! xxzxxxx
ReplyDeleteBack to grey and damp conditions this morning Diane, if that's any consolation?! x
ReplyDeleteLesley, what a lovely spot. Are those gulls on the water?

Hi Julie - the gulls are on the 'top rugby field', hanging around waiting for food! Bye for now. Lesley x
DeleteTwo days on from when you posted this post, Lesley, and we have got the same here...finally. I am listening to birds singing like it is spring!
ReplyDeletePleased to know that the sun's shining for you too, Cathy. It's lovely here again today - we're painting and decorating at Art Space at the moment and I managed to spend some time sitting outside in the sun earlier on. Wonderful! x
